Hoppily Ever After - Molly & Tracy's Beer & Travel Inspired Wedding at Summerour Studios in Atlanta, GA | Scarlet Plan & Design | Same-sex, LGBTQ-friendly Wedding Planner
Molly & Tracy were quite possibly some of the sweetest, most laid back, easygoing clients we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. When they first started planning their wedding, they really just wanted to run off, but their families were so thrilled about them getting married that they begged the brides to reconsider eloping and have a legit wedding wedding. The brides agreed as long as they got to have a private ceremony with family only and that’s where we came in!
One of our first questions when we start talking to a couple is how they met and to tell us their whole sappy love story. We want to get to know what makes them an “US” before we begin planning anything or making recommendations for the wedding. Finding ways to incorporate their unique love story into their overall wedding story is what makes our planning process different from other planners (or so we’ve heard haha).
Molly & Tracy love traveling together, they love finding new breweries in their travels, they’d rather have a frosty brewski than a mixed cocktail or glass of wine, they’re self-proclaimed foodies but have a soft spot for junk food (think Twinkies, Oatmeal pies and Ho-Hos), and they absolutely hated the idea of having non-stop attention or a huge spotlight on them at the wedding. Challenge accepted!
We found many other ways to pull in their love story in the details of their big day! Enjoy!!

Summerour is such a unique Atlanta venue. Tuscany inspired on the outside, yet warmly industrial and rustic inside, with sweeping views of the Atlanta city skyline, this gem is a must-see for couples searching for a dope spot to say I Do!
That bridal jumpsuit is dangerously stylish!
Like I said, this bridal jumpsuit is FIERCE!! So fierce that even the mother of the bride wore an asymmetrical pantsuit too!
This stunning bridal gown featured delicate lace detailing and buttons, with an unexpected sexy slit up the thigh and POCKETS! I’ll take 2 please!
OMG they found a kitten in the middle of their First Look portraits!!! I hope y’all kept him!
Molly & Tracy had originally planned for their private, family only ceremony to be held outside in the courtyard, but sadly the weather was not very cooperative. However, moving it indoors to the mezzanine was warm, cozy and intimate, simply perfect for their handwritten vows to be exchanged.
Pssst, I’m gonna tell you a secret, your guest book doesn’t have to be a book at all! Since the brides love traveling so much, they had guests sign a huge map of the world, which was framed following the wedding and now hangs in their home. We used some of our favorite vintage luggage pieces beside the map to pull in more of their travel vibes.
Each of the copper table numbers were customized with maps of the brides’ favorite cities! How fun is that?!
We reached out to Drew, the executive chef and owner of Endive Catering in Atlanta, to help us create a menu that reflected the taste of our brides so he found delicious recipes that incorporated all of their fave beers directly into their menu! From passed apps each paired with a favorite brew for guests to grab a bite and a small beer sample together. to brews and ales used in the recipes of the entrees, Drew really went above and beyond! As always!
